We are an American family living in Munich with our dog for 12 years now. We own and operate The Munich Readery, largest English secondhand bookshop in Germany. John is a life-long bookseller. I like to curl up on a comfy couch with a good book and my dog snoring nearby. Greta is smart, funny, strong, and beautiful. If I'd known how much fun having a kid would be, I'd have had a bunch more! Lisa, is a writer as well as a partner in our bookshop. Her non-fiction book about a North Carolina nurse-midwife, "Lovie - the Story of a Southern Midwife & and Unlikely Friendship" was published in Dec. 2016 by the University of North Carolina Press.
