My family has been coming to Aspen since the mid-1950's, before Aspen was 'Aspen.' My mom and dad fell in love with the mountains, the skiing and the Aspen lifestyle. The house was purchased from the builder in 1978 and has been our family's 'get away from it all' place. My mom and step dad are world travelers and the house is decorated with folk art, rugs and photographs from their travels including Tibet, Africa, Bhutan, Mexico and South America, as well as plenty of Southwestern and native American art, pottery and rugs. My husband, kids and I don't spend as much time there as we would like and have decided to open our home so other people can come and enjoy the truly spectacular views and experience the release of stress that our warm home away from home has to offer.
