As a tour guide and current traveller I am currently working on a digital guide book for Japan especially hidden parts of the island that are a bit off the beaten path. Working with partners around Japan part of our goal is to help make Japan more accessible for tourists and let travellers discover the beautiful countryside.

Before getting involved in the tourism industry I mostly worked as an English teacher in my hometown of Vancouver and parents' hometown of Dublin. I have been lucky enough to visit many countries including a trip on the Peaceboat a Japan based NGO.

I love nature, sports and food. Camping, BBQs, cycling, football, hot springs and discovering new restaurants & bars. I also love history and music.

As a host, I am happy to pass on my knowledge of the country, of Tokyo and Kyoto especially, be responsive to your requests. I really look forward to helping you plan your time in Japan!
