I was brought up have spent most of my life living in the UK but have always loved travelling, especially in and around Europe.

I was brought up have spent most of my life living in the UK but have always loved travelling, especially in and around Europe.

I have always loved Germany and particularly Berlin. It has a unique quality to me that is difficult to describe but I find it modern yet quirky. I find it a tolerant, friendly city that encourages a live-and-let-live approach to life.

The city is full-on and packed with bars, clubs, restaurants and tourist attractions yet has loads of green space, including the lovely nearby Tiergarten that is magnificent in all seasons.
