We are an English couple with 3 children, originally from Brighton in East Sussex. We visited Slovenia in 2006, loved it so much that we bought our house!
We love walking & being outdoors, ski-ing & snow. We also love mountains & the beautiful scenery. Hocko Pohorje is an idyllic location just 10 minutes from the Centre of Maribor. It is a beautiful spot, the kind of place that we dreamt about when we were working back in the UK. The house has a special feel, warm & inviting, the garden is really huge & the views are simply stunning. Summer or Winter it offers so much. It really is a different world & always hard to leave!
Something special about being here has to be the location, beautiful scenery & tranquility. 1km away is the village of Hoce where there are a variety of restaurants, supermarkets & all other ameneties. The Mariborsko Ski Resort of is only a 15 minutes away. There are many people who have not yet discovered Slovenia & are missing out what Slovenia has to offer.
