My husband and I live on a lake in Plum Branch, SC, it's about 15 miles outside of Augusta GA. We're both retired, we have two daughters and 10 grandchildren. We are very excited to start our journey of renting our vacation home as we just purchased this cabin February 24, 2014, so this is really the beginning. Well, our first full year was an awesome success, and we're having so much fun we decided to purchase another rental. A condo in the Gatlinburg Summit condo...it's atop the second highest peak in the area. We've wanted to own a cabin in the Smoky Mountains for years, but wanted to be able to be more hands on to rent and manage the it ourselves...our Goal, make sure our guest had the best vacay stay ever!! We have rented other cabins or condos in the Gatlinburg area from owners and our experience has been just great. We hope to make all of our guests experience as good as those we've had. My husband spent 38 years with the local 150 Plumbers and Steamfitters, his latter years as foreman. I worked 38 years with the last 32 spent as an industrial photography at SRS a nuclear plant outside of Aiken SC. We will be making lots of changes to our cabin...
