Hello, my name is Nelly. I've lived in Genova, Italy until 20 years ago and then I moved to Los Altos, California in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since then I have been traveling back and forth between Los Altos, Genova, Piemonte, Molise, Sicily, Rome and sometimes Brazil. In Genova I owned one of the most traditional and famous Torte e Farinata shops. In the US I have been teaching Italian cooking and culture for two decades. I also lead culinary tours in various Italian regions. In other words, my passion is to cook! Preferably with others. So, if you are interested, I can teach you a few things while you stay at my place. Another passion is "home". I love to make people feel at home and create a "home away from home" for my guests.
