I was born in Romania, but I spent many years living abroad. I studied foreign languages and am fluent in English, French and Spanish.
My work and vacations have taken me to various cities and countries in Europe, North America and the Caribbean over the last 13 years, so I know first hand how important it is to stay in a place where you are comfortable and feel welcome.
I have lived in 3 different countries, other than my own and I know from experience what it's like to live in rental apartments, which is why I am striving to offer my guests the comforts of a home away from home in a friendly, relaxed vacation setting, away from the hustle and bustle of tourist areas, in the middle of the real San Juan.
When opportunity presented itself, I purchased and renovated an apartment in Santurce, namely Loiza Street area, my absolute favorite neighborhood in San Juan, young, hip, happening and always surprising. At the moment I am in charge of 2 more apartments in the same area.
I would love for more people to be able to experience this great city and island and quite possibly fall in love with it like I did,
I 'm always interested in meeting new people and sharing what I've learned about this island with them. I also think everybody has a story and every person we meet along the way can teach us something, these being the reasons why I started hosting.
