My husband and I bought a one-bedroom house looking over the Atlantic in 2008. It was idyllic, but there was no room for our friends, children, and grandchildren to stay, so we expanded the house to four bedrooms. We live in Manhattan, but we spend a month or two in our Vieques house each year. I am a writer and art historian and my husband, Dr. Desmond Heath, is a child and adolescent psychiatrist. For both of us our house in Vieques a wonderful place to work and to relax.
