We’re excited that you’re considering our cabin for your next family vacation and hope that you can create as many family memories as we have in the Smoky Mountains.

As a kid growing up, I vacationed, with my family, in the Smoky Mountains almost every year.

During these vacations we built several family traditions including the first dinner of each vacation eating at the Log Cabin Pancake House in Gatlinburg. Every Friday night they offer live entertainment and the same performer has been there most Friday’s since I can last remember.

Probably our favorite tradition is the very competitive game of Hillbilly Golf in Gatlinburg. The thrill of taking a tram car up a hill to miniature golf (always at night) with the opportunity to go head to head with my Dad for the annual “Hillbilly Golf Championship” which allowed the winner a year’s worth of bragging rights.

A trip to the Smoky Mountains is never complete until you’ve sampled a piece of Ole Smoky Candy Kitchen taffy and candy. I always looked
forward to the go-cart racing and Dollywood in Pigeon Forge as well.

So after 20+ years of family vacations, when my wife and I had an
opportunity in 2010 to purchase our very own cabin in the Smoky
Mountains we couldn't think of any better place to spend our vacation time.

When looking for a place, we found Sunset Cabin and instantly fell in
love with the location and more importantly were the unbelievable views of the Smoky Mountains.

Since owning the cabin, we've made many upgrades to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We also felt it was important to include all members of your family by allowing small pets.
