While working on a cruise ship, I found, and fell in love with San Juan del Sur. I vowed I would return and build there, which I ultimately did. Nicaragua has everything Costa Rica has to offer at a fraction of the price - and less commercialized. I love that I can ride horses, explore, eat well and relax. I can even surf some of these waves!
