Island Villas is owned and operated by Yvonne B., a native Portlander and local business owner. Following the closure of a successfully operated and family owned supermarket over many years, Yvonne was approached by a friend in the property rental business who proposed she take over the management of some private villas in the San San Resort Area only 15 minutes from Port Antonio. It was the perfect transition! The villa owners already knew Yvonne very well as a responsible and highly respected person in the community; she in turn jumped in her new villa management role with ease and enthusiasm, and so Island Villas was born in 2000!

In the formative years, the business was known as Villa Vacations; however since then her portfolio has grown from a few private villas to managing and renting more than twenty five of the most sought after villas in Port Antonio, a favorite hangout for the rich and famous.
