I live in NYC and built a weekend house in Austerlitz, NY after falling in love with the area in 2006. I love the City, but crave a simpler country life to charge my batteries from time to time. I had 40 virgin acres on a ridge line and had to figure out how to get infrastructure put in place before I could start construction. I finally got the house built in 2012, after owning the land for six years. It has truly been a labor of love and I hope to share its beauty with others.

The house is perched atop a hill in the middle of the woods all by itself. The rolling hills and views of the Catskill Mountains to the West and Berkshire Mountains to the East are breath taking. The locally produced foods are amazing. There are blueberry festivals, county fairs, chili cook offs, live performances and other local events every weekend in the summer, great hiking close and skiing all winter. It's also very easy to have guests meet you as the Albany airport and Hudson train stations are close!
