My husband, Hector (Hecty) and I (Giannina) were born in Puerto Rico and now reside in the DC Metro Area. Our two teenagers grew up spending many fun summers/winter breaks/spring breaks at the RioMar Wyndham Resort. We decided to purchase this property to share with our friends and as a way to get our teens motivated and excited about going on vacation with us, their parents! This, of course, includes the opportunity for them to bring friends, which is now the main reason they like to go! We considered many other beach places but decided on Puerto Rico, not only because we still have family there, but also because of the culture, great restaurants and the myriad activities available! We never get tired of doing hikes in El Yunque (the National Rainforest just 5 minutes from the Villa), visiting the Bioluminescent Bay (just 20 minutes from the Resort), eating the local cuisine, i.e. mofongo (fried plantain with garlic), lechon (roasted pork), rice and beans, and doing catamaran rides to the smaller islands and keys off the coast of Puerto Rico.

It is our hope that you and your family have the opportunity to create special memories by staying at our place.
