My wife and I are retired and live in Canada. Throughout our lives we have traveled extensively and seen most of the world. Last year we visited Sicily and fell in love with Modica and the people. The house offers a panoramic view of the city.

We have spent the last 9 months completely restoring and furnishing the house. We purchased this property because of the panoramic view, central location and historical setting.The view from the terrace is spectacular. We also felt that being located within a beautiful enclosed courtyard added both privacy and security. We picked Modica because of the warm climate, and Modica felt like a real Sicilian town where people work and live.The town’s people are friendly and we felt we would be living in a safe environment, free to explore all the wonderful sites in and around the city. Modica is a place we can call home. Being centrally located it is an easy walk to shops restaurants and historical sights.
