Carmen and Howard had their horses for many years and kept them at their residence in San Juan, where they would have to transport them to either the Riding Club or to the other farms to be able to enjoy long rides. They always wanted to purchase a farm in the South(horse country in Puerto Rico) and finally got their wish when they purchase the 162 acre "Estancias de Guayacán" in Coamo on the South Coast. There was nothing on the farm so everything had to be built from scratch. Roads, fences, houses, stable, etc. They moved their horses there in 1994. Once they had a good place to keep them, they bought Arabians. Arabians are very spirited horses and need to run. Carmen and Howard love and enjoy their horses, not only riding, but just watching them run in the pasture!.. and the horses come running for treats. Carmen and Howard welcome the opportunity to share their time & experience with you, during your stay at the 'Southern Delights' Rental Villas.
