Since my first trip to Costa Rica I absolutely loved it. I selected Playa Avellanas as it's a 5 minute walk to a world class beach, very peaceful, still has the natural wildlife and only 20 minutes (by car) to Tamarindo. I know the country very well and can assist in any activities you'd like including areas outside of Guanacaste.
