About the owner: We live in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Georgia. After 37 years of marriage, raising three daughters, and blessed by 6 grandchildren, we are able to make a few other dreams come true. We'd like to share our good fortune with others.

Why the Owner Chose Amelia Landings:
We stopped in Amelia Island two years ago for the first time on business. My wife walked out onto the sand and said 'this is it - this may be the place'. Having been married for 37 years, I wasn't sure if I should be excited or scared because once she gets an idea in her head..., well, you know. It is a gorgeous home, the previous owner is an 'in demand' interior designer on the island and we were thrilled with what she's done. She and her husband remodeled the entire place and most importantly 'sound proofed' it. The proximity to the beach was a huge plus and even though we are in our sixties now, we can easily walk there in less than 5 minutes.

The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The décor in this home is incredible, the textures, colors all merge so beautifully. Make sure you go to Slider's and sit upstairs and enjoy the ocean breeze and great fried shrimp or a crab cake sandwich. Kids can safely play below, in plain view of the adults. Our condo is city licensed and inspected. This is required by the city of Fernandina Beach...it means you can rest assured that our villa meets city resort safety and accommodation standards. If you stay at an unlicensed vacation rental you could lose many of your vacation rental rights!
