We are a retired married couple, and this is our dream home that we are happy to share with you. Our families have lived in the Virgin Islands for many years, so you can imagine that we know these islands very well. If you ever need any questions answered during your stay, we'll do our best to answer them for you. While these suites are brand new rentals, we have many years of experience as long-term rental landlords in St. Thomas.

We chose this location primarily for its privacy. Since Picara Pearl is the last house near Picara Point on the Peterborg peninsula, it feels like we're on our own little secluded island. Yet, St. Thomas is so small that we are never too far from the fantastic things it has to offer. We also enjoy that our home is directly above Magens Bay. Everyday is a beautiful day at Picara Pearl! You will enjoy listening to the ocean any time of the day and the beauty of the turquoise blue water. It's simply spectacular! Your views of smaller islands, Inner Brass and Outer Brass will also delight you. You'll see pelicans diving in to get their meals and iguanas sunning themselves on the rocks below. It's a very peaceful, serene setting.

We built the second floor of Picara Pearl in 2000, and the first floor, where the Sunset Serenity Suite and Ocean Bliss Suite are, was completed last summer. Since building this home, we have received many positive responses from visitors such as, "This is my dream." "What a beautiful house!" One gentleman who recently sold his own home in the area even mentioned he would love to rent our suites for his family's vacations.
