Placid Bay Inn "on Lake Placid' is a year-round vacation destination in the beautiful village of Lake Placid. Adirondack ambiance surrounds you in our comfortably appointed rooms, kitchenettes, suites and cottages. All accommodations have full bath/shower, cable TV, self control air-conditioning or heat, phone with free local calls, and free Wi-Fi. Country Comfort cottage is our only unit not air-conditioned but we do supply fans to enjoy the cool mountain evenings. We are centrally located to walk to restaurants, pubs, and entertainment. Located in the Adirondack Park there is a plethora of things to see and do. Our family as been serving guests for over 38 years. Find out why so many people make us their home away from home.
