My husband and I are in our early 40's and we purchased the newly renovated White Turpin House one year ago. The 200 year old house belonged to my gggg-grandfather who was the first sheriff of Adams County. Up until 2 years ago, I was a kindergarten teacher, but the family history bug bit and I followed a new path. I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting new people from lots of different places and sharing the history of my family home and the Natchez area. Guests seem to love the location and the total privacy that they are afforded by staying here. We have worked hard to make sure we provide guests with all of the modern comforts of home in our historic setting from luxurious bedding for a great night's sleep to a delicious complimentary breakfast at the nearby Natchez Coffee Co. We are in a great location which is walking distance to just about everything you would want to experience in downtown Natchez.
