I live in Vancouver, B.C., Canada. I'm not yet retired but, can get away for lengthy vacations. I love to be in a warm place in "winter" away from all that rain! I enjoy reading and relaxing at The Palms #7 on Flamingo Beach. It is the ideal situation for me to just sit back and get away from all the daily "business" of life. I had always dreamed of a vacation home on the beach. After researching all the potential places in the world, I chose Costa Rica. I traveled there and went from Coast to Coast....finally ending my search on the white sands of Flamingo Beach. The particular unit I purchased was previously owned by a lovely couple from England. It was the first ever to sell in the complex. It is a corner unit and I feel is the best location of any in the entire place. I call it the Madiera (wood in Spanish)house It has all native and natural products from flooring to cabinetry. I loved the authenticity of the finishings.
