We are from New York and feel that our winters have been getting colder, or perhaps we are getting older and more cold intolerant.
We first came to St.Thomas aboard Infinity Cruise line. Magan’s Bay seemed to be the most spectacular beach of the entire trip. We subsequently came for vacation to the island itself and found by far more spectacular beaches than Magan’s Bay. Our family has a problem remembering to take a camera with us on trips, but not when we are on St.Thomas.
We find multiple advantages of being on St.Thomas. It is part of US territory. Hence spoken language is English. It also contains some of the mainland stores and restaurant chains. St..Thomas’s, Charlotte Amalie is a capital of US Virgin Islands. Which include St.John, and St.Croix, in addition to St.Thomas. We also disfavor big and loud all inclusive resorts, and feel much more private and able to have our exclusive plans and accommodations at our Condo.
