Dave and Pat Summers are long time residents of Sonoma Valley, one of the most beautiful places on earth to live and visit. Pat founded Summers-McCann Public Relations 30 years ago, and was involved primarily with the food, wine, hospitality, and art industries. She conceived and founded Sonoma Salute to the Arts, an event that set the standard for wine country events in 1986. The well remembered event promoted the culinary, visual, winemaking, theatrical and literary arts through 2007. Pat and her team also created the world famous Napa Valley Mustard Festival, which offered multiple events from January through March, through 2010. She had the honor of meeting and spending time with notable late figures including Maya Angelou, Julia Child, M.F.K. Fisher Robert Mondavi and Margrit Biever Mondavi. She now enjoys hosting guests and sharing Sonoma Valley with vacation rental guests at Inn Wine Country Executive Retreat near Sonoma Plaza, and Summers House in prestigious east side Sonoma three miles from Sonoma Plaza. She has also assists other property owners with renovations, decor, management marketing of vacation rentals. Dave and Pat treasure spending time with their children and grandchildren.
