Edwina and I moved to Waynesville from New Orleans when we retired, 15 years ago. We haven't looked back and are here to stay. However we need to go back for an oyster poorboy and a bowl of gumbo every now and then. I was a life insurance agent for 35 years and Edwina was in catering and opened a gourmet to go food shop which is still going strong. We have four children, a veterinarian, a seafood marketiing executive, an artist married to an architect and an engineer with the Ford Motor Company. We also enjoy 9 grandchildren and Edwina s anxiously hoping for some great grandchildren, I'm on wait and see. We used to travel a lot, all of the states and over 60 countries. We sailed a lot, owned small planes and lived life to the fullest. Waynesville is a nice place to slow down and count our blessings.
