I am 77 years of age. My husband is 80. We live here close by our cabin in Luray, Va. We rent our cabin year round. We take pride in our property and are responsive to all of our guests and their needs. Since we are local, we deal with our guests directly - from key exchange, to cleaning, to repairs and anything in between. Our property is very private and is 100' from The Shenandoah River! Our cabin is a very cozy 2 rooms with a bathroom with a toilet & sink between the 2 rooms. The back bedroom has a Queen Bed. We have a Twin Sofa that pulls out for a bed & a very comfortable sofa. In the front room, there is a mini kitchen with a Dinette that seats 4-6, refrigerator, electric range, microwave, electric frying pan, coffee pot, toaster & electric mixer for slurpee, etc. there is a twin bed, another comfortable sofa, a twin bed in the closet & 2 double mattress that can throwed on the floor. There are plenty of pots, pans, utensils, dishes, mugs. We have a electric heat in both rooms & will be inserting a electric fireplace at a lot of requests this week. Our full bathroom with shower is downstairs & the bathroom also has a heater. There is A/C, wifi, Direct T.V. & a phone. May, Memorial Day weekend we open the pool for the season. We have painted inside & out & will continue to paint around the sides of the pool in the spring. We have a big pavillion with picnic tables & a pit. One charcoal & one gas grill. We ask everyone to bring charcoal & gas. There is a pic down the hill closer to the river where some people pitch their tents. We have 3 canoes, 2 kayaks, & numerous tubes to enjoy coming down the river. We take you up & you come back to our place. It is a lot of fun!

It was a great place for the kids to get back to nature. We did not have to worry about neighbors hearing energetic kids. There were no curtains on the windows, as it is just you out there by the river. The owner stopped by to inform us of sight-seeing in the area, otherwise we were left alone. It is a bit further out of town than originally thought. Took us about 30 minutes to get back to town …
