We had been diving all over the Caribbean and could have moved anywhere in the world. However we selected Roatan, and specifically Caribe Pointe Bight, for its unmatched beauty and reef access. We came down from Florida in our boat 12 years ago and lived aboard tied to our dock. Eventually we built the boathouse and then a larger concrete house up the hill, where we live full time.
