For a bit of fun in 2005 Anna and her husband Paul quit their jobs in the UK, moved to France and immediately set about renovating what was once a dairy barn into three holiday cottages, and an old ruin into a home.

With two young children attending the village school who love having a constant stream of holidaying children to play with, any spare time is spent building dens, making fairy cakes, constructing a lego empire and eating lots of chocolate.
