We started going to Myrtle Beach in 1987 to enjoy the 120 golf courses and the sand and the beach for our kids. In 1993 we purchased our first 2nd home in Little River and still go there 6 or 8 times a year. We subsequently have purchased 3 investment properties, one of which is an 8 bedroom in Cherry Grove for the specific purpose of housing all of my golfing buddies in one place rather than spread them out in individual 2 bedroom units. We got spoiled and wanted to take advantage of the great courses down south on Pawley's Island and decided to buy a 4 bedroom condo on 7th Street South and Ocean Highway. My wife and her girlfriends have always enjoyed the beach and the beach music at Ocean Annies. The trips aren't as frequent to Ocean Annies anymore since our first granddaughter is now on the scene and wants to play in the ocean and the sand. The picture is of my wife and me celebrating my 60th birthday.
