We have always gravitated to the water - especially the ocean. We even got married in the Florida Keys on a sailboat as the sun was setting. It seems to have always been that way. My wife grew up on the South Shore of Long Island and spent her free time at the beach on Fire Island. I have lived a good deal of my life on an island in Florida. We are currently landlocked in Winston Salem NC and this cottage gives us a way to get back to the beach more often.
