I've been sharing our home in Margaret's Buildings in Bath with guests for many years now and it's so lovely to know that people can enjoy Bath from the comfort of our apartment. I have since started to look after other people's homes too and can now provide more dates and more variety. Everyone loves Bath and I'm very fortunate to live in such a great location and to work in the city too. It's very rewarding when guests from all over the world tell me how much they have loved staying here.

When I'm not at work I like all the usual Bath things: Going to the cinema, the Thermae Spa (not to be missed if you are visiting), art exhibitions & drinking coffee (lovely cafe life), watching Bath Rugby at the Rec. The restaurants are great here too & there are lots of fun bars and traditional pubs (I'm more of a stay-at-home at night myself though!). My real loves are architecture, literature and the arts. I have a degree in English and would really love to be writing more but life gets in the way! I love painting too but I'm not sure how good I am at it!

I've lived in Bath now for 34 years so do ask me anything you'd like to know for your stay and I'll do my best to help.

I also love travelling myself when I get time. I particularly like cities and only go for beach-type holidays if there is also lots of culture around too. It's great to get to experience how other people live and to see the rich tapestry of life!

My motto in life is 'Happiness is freedom and freedom is happiness'. To be free to be yourself, travel and experience life to the full is important to me - I don't always do it, but I try to help others to!
