Casa Quintino is not a normal tourist villa, but a unique home, lovingly restored to combine the timeless elegance of the Tuscany landscape with the compelling strength of Africa. The personal paintings, books, piano, and ethnic taste as well as the simplicity of the rough style of finish appeal most to those who are seeking a genuine getaway from urban sophistication. It is a nature lovers delight as the surrounding oak forests are alive with the call of the nightingale, cuckoos and African hoopoe, while deer, foxes, porcupines and wild boar nightly visit the water hole below Casa Quintino. Whilst it is in the center of the cultural triangle, one hour equidistant between Pisa, Florence and Sienna, our reviews show how many of our guest simply succumb to the deep peace of this rural getaway and experience the tranquility of ancient Arcadia, with good friends, a good book and a plenty of cheap wine.
