I have been living on Quadra for 25 years. I am an art teacher and have been teaching grade 1-12 art at a school in Campbell River for 13 years. I have been raising sheep on the farm here for 21 years and am kept busy taking care of them along with my goats, chickens, retired horses and Border Collies. I have two grown kids who help out on the farm when they can as there is always lots to do. It was a great place for them to grow up and they always love being home. During the summer it's wonderful for me to have the chance to stay at home gardening, picking berries, growing vegetables, swimming at the lakes, walking the trails and beaches of Quadra, and relaxing in the evening overlooking the pond. When I can I like to sit down and work on some of my own art. I enjoy meeting new people, having visitors, and sharing my farm with them.
