My husband Frank & I met in Florida and had always dreamed of owning a house near the beach to escape to in Florida. We discovered Venice Florida and simply adore this quaint beach town! Our two young kids love Shark's tooth hunting on the beach near us (pre-historic shark's teeth - don't worry!); going to Venice Avenue for huge ice cream cones and running through the Children's Fountain in the swimsuits in the town center. Venice beaches are beyond beautiful and the residents are very friendly. We now have many relatives hooked on Venice. We think Venice is one of the best kept secrets in old-fashion memorable family vacations!
