Gina and her Husband Tony run a small Eco accommodation property on the edge of Bridport, a small coastal town, in North East Tasmania. They are 5th generation Tasmanians and proud of their island culture and heritage.
This is a small family business, providing friendly and personal service. Platypus Park Country Retreat has been established for almost 20 years now and they enjoy meeting people from all over the world.
Platypus do live in the Brid river on the 40 acre property, and you may fish for trout in the dams.

Friendly welcome by Gina who showed us to our cottage. Lack of a corkscrew discovered on the second night was quickly remedied. Beds were firm and comfortable. Lovely verandah and view to dams. Provisions for breakfast were extra but best price that I can recall in all my trips over the last few years.
Only minor shortcoming was the number of slaters inhabiting the bathroom and toilet, …
