Harriet and I live in the Columbia, SC area. I am an IT specialist, and Harriet manages an OB/GYN office.

At least once each year during our 30 years of marriage we have enjoyed vacationing in the Myrtle Beach area.

Our family fell in love with the Oceanside Village community and all of its features the first time we vacationed here in 2006. After 4 years of renting, we decided to buy this place, our own piece of Myrtle Beach Fun, in Oct 2006.

Our adult children enjoy the many onsite features, and the close proximity to Myrtle Beach activities. Our grandkids (ages 7, 5 & 3) beg us frequently to take them to our beach house, where they have a routine of visiting the library and playground in the morning, and beach and/or pools in the afternoon. Evenings we play mini golf or games. They love the freedom of riding their bikes throughout the community and finding new friends to play with. (Harriet and I have graduated from bikes to our more comfortable electric golf cart)
