Both of us have so much history at Disneyland. We both worked there on and off as entertainers in various forms. Crystal used to sing on Main Street with the Townsfolk Carolers and contracted her own holiday carolers that strolled the hotels and resort. Chris first started working in the park in the early 90's playing keytar for a futuristic space band in front of (then) Mission to Mars and Captain EO attractions (Space Mountain), played the 40th Anniversary Show at Tomorrow Land Terrace (for a year and a half...), and opened the new Grand Californian Hotel as one of the pianists there for 5 years. There's a lot to look back on inside the main gates, along with several of our friends who still entertain there. And even now with years behind us and 4 kids in front of us there's still a lot more of those memories waiting to happen.
We are always popping into Mickey's Hollow to enjoy a mini get-away. We hope you enjoy Mickey's Hollow as one of your many cherished memories.
Left on Sep 15, 2011 for a stay in August 2011
We stayed at Mickey's Hollow for 10 days during the month of august. When staying here you are closer to the parks than many of the Disneyland hotels. We were able to spend the cool, quieter early mornings at the park- an easy 8 - 10 minute walk to the trams - come home to the peace, quiet and convenience of our very own kitchen for a healthy (more affordable) lunch. Enjoy a quick dip in the pool…
