In 2004, while on a 2 week vacation into the Yucatan, we chose Xcalak as an out of the way destination to relax and enjoy snorkeling and diving, our 2 favorite activities. That was the beginning of an exciting and enriching adventure. We invested in this Villa because of the obvious beauty of the area and friendliness of its local people. The tranquility and its seclusion allows us the slowed down pace we need between our busy lives in the wine country of northern California. The rest and relaxation we experience while reading, snorkeling, diving and just hanging out in a swinging hammock is all the reasons why we love it here and enjoy sharing the villa with guests who return year after year.
