Talkeetna, Alaska is fun to hang out in with colorful locals and exciting things to do. Walk to good restaurants and fun shops with local artists. Have a drink at the old Fairview Inn or the West Rib Pub. Go flightseeing over Mt. McKinley or use the Talkeetna Majestic as a base for fishing, hiking, rafting, dog sled riding adventures.
