We are a retired government worker ans school counselor from the D.C.area. Having grown up in the West, we share a love of wildlife, nature and the outdoors. We are also tired of winters! Our first visit to Costa Rica assured us that this friendly little country would offer all we were seeking. What was most impressive was the pride the locals (Ticos) have in their country. The spirit of their national motto "Pura Vida" is alive!

The villa was perfect! Just the right size to accommodate our family of 5 with plenty of amenities. The backyard even had a big tree that sometimes draws a troop of capuchin monkeys! Everything was very comfortable, and it was perfectly located. You could quickly walk to the beach or take a short drive to a nearby town for some dinner or to sightsee.
