In 2002, Suzan Badgley, was inspired during her second visit to Bali to help support Wayan, an English-speaking guide and dreamer. He wanted to build a birdhouse and cultivate the nests carefully as to not harm the eggs and to increase the population that is presently threatened around the world. She dreamed to live part time in this paradise. They worked together to formulate their dreams.
Today, the Swallow Guest House is a home servicing international guests. Because the swallows never entered the house, it was renovated extensively to accommodate families and company clients. The swallows continue to fly around the rooftop after their feedings above the rice fields. Suzan has learned, by working closely with the gracious Balinese people, about giving and doing for the good of Karma.
They look forward to sharing this unique cultural experience in the REAL BALI with you.
