We live in Washington DC. In 2004 we went on vacation to CR for the very first time – and fell in love with the Carrillo/Samara area. Within 2 month we had bought a piece of land and I finally had the opportunity to design my very own house; a dream as an architect! It was so much fun, both designing it and coming down often to follow the construction. We spent the first night in our new home in December 2007. Now we come down twice a year. Our excellent local team – who has been with us from the start – helps us in the renting with keys, housekeeping and maintenance.
