My husband, Dave, and I established Inn Wine Country Executive Retreat in 2008 and have enjoyed hosting couples, families, groups of friends, and business travelers from around the world. We opened Summers House, our wonderful country home, as a vacation rental in 2009. I have owned and operated Summers-McCann Public Relations since 1985. The firm now actively supports our vacation rental business including establishing, decorating and managing homes for other owners. Summers-McCann specialized in food, wine, art, travel, and hospitality promotion, making it the perfect transition from promoting hotels. We also created and produced numerous wine country events including Sonoma Salute to the Arts through 2007 and the Napa Valley Mustard Festival, through 2010 It is now a joy to promote our unique, beautiful accommodations in our very special community. It has also been gratifying to utilize my creative skills in design. Our daughter, Tannia, assisted with furnishing our Executive Retreat, introducing me to mid century design. Our guests love the interior and the delightful deck canopied by trees and blessed with bird song. The private creekside location, with a small lap pool, offers guests the opportunity to walk to Sonoma Plaza, restaurants, wine tasting rooms, shops and historic sites in five minutes. It is a wonderful place!
