My Italian architect and I live in the beautiful city of Siena with our four bilingual children. I left Australia for a passion for all things Italian and after twenty years of living in Tuscany I can say that the passion really has peaked with the enthusiasm and passion we put into restoring our beautiful Villa Belforte. We discovered the property by chance after it had been abandoned for seven years and well...it was sort of like poetry...nothing planned but irresistable. For us it really is a great pleasure to share this little corner of the world with our guests, some of whom have become friends. I am very happy to assist in any way in order to ensure that your holiday somehow forfills some sort of a dream...I have a lovely friend who can cook for you or organise cooking days, wine tours, massages, visits to the local hot springs...Nothing is too much trouble. As Verdi said "You can have the world if I can have Italy".

This is the perfect holiday home to enjoy with friends. All the rooms are fantastic and there's stunning views from nearly every window. The house has been beautifully restored and the spa is amazing ! Belforte was a great base to explore this part of Tuscany and we had a beautiful week in this part of the world.
