We are originally from Argentina. In the early 90's my brother Francisco Goya and I decided on moving to Maui and pursuing our windsurfing dream. Maui offers one of the most consistent wave sailing conditions in the world. I'm also an artist and love nature, so as an artist it is easy to get inspired by beautiful Maui. In 1993 my mother purchase this amazing property; lucky us! Lately I've been helping more and more with Mana Aina [our property's name] and our vacation rental, up to the point when my family decided to name me “The Caretaker” :) I'm happy they did because I think I am the happiest property caretaker and vacation rental manager that I've ever met. When done with work, I love going to Hookipa for a windsurfing session, otherwise I'll keep on working at Mana Aina or at my studio here making art.

One of the great things about running the vacation rentals, is that I get to meet guests from all over the world who come here to experience our beautiful and unique land. I feel extremely fortunate to be able to call this little spot in paradise, my home; it is peaceful, yet at the same time, is near everything I could possibly need and want.

Here is one more thing about myself that I thought I could share with you while at it. Finding the best in people inspires me greatly, which in turn keeps bringing out the best in others and myself. I also learned a while back to be thankful, not only about having what matters to me the most, but also about life's simplest things. This simple state of gratefulness seems to keep bringing more of it into my life, and I live happier.
