I have been offering the properties I own to guests to rent for nearly 20 years. I live in Belmont, Massachusetts and enjoy providing one or more rooms in my home. It's a pleasure to meet people from all over the world.
For my two properties in Nova Scotia, Canada, the Fennel Old House (#2379747), and SkyView on LaHave Island (#2384601), I aim to make their rental experience in our neighboring country as pleasurable and hassle-free as possible. I provide a complete package of information about each house (including what to do if particular issues arise), directions, and things to do in the area. I call guests the day they arrive and am available by email and phone throughout their stay.
As for me, personally, I'm a former TV reporter, and currently produce web videos for companies, institutions, and nonprofits. I am divorced and have two wonderful daughters who live nearby. My mom and sister also are nearby, which is great, and I am grateful for the friends in my life. When I travel, it's usually to my homes in Nova Scotia, as the LaHave Islands are my nirvana -- there's no place else in the world I'd rather be.
