We are an American and Dutch couple living in Amsterdam with our 3 children and dog Trouble! We live in the downstairs apartment so are able to help out and to answer any questions. We do our own check-ins and check-outs.

Charles is American and has been living in Amsterdam since 2003. In addition to running Amsterdam City Canal Apartment, he is owner of 27 House Real Estate (www.27house.nl), helping people, buy, sell and rent properties in and around Amsterdam.

Charles was selected to be the real estate agent on the popular American TV show, House Hunters International on HGTV when they came to Amsterdam to film in 2010 and again numerous times each year since then (details/links below). Charles and his 27 Huis team filmed 8+ additional episodes from 2012-2016 and have been asked to do more!!! Charles has also filmed 2 episodes of Live Here, Buy This, another real estate show from North America when they came to Amsterdam and has also filmed a new show called House Hunters International: Renovations!
