I've lived on Aruba always, although born abroad. My family came here in the early thirties of the last century. Most people love Aruba for a vacation, it's a relaxing and beautiful place.
Booking a place in town like Lin's Oranjestad Cottage near the Surfside Sea gives you the true Aruban vibe. You can walk into town, eat in local restaurants, visit the local out-door weekly dance-party in town, all walking distance from the cottage.
But renting a car is essential for maximum fun. We provide a great host, and a list of my favorite places to see and do, fave places to eat, all in town, all authentic.
Nikki's Beach /Surfside Beach is right down the road, and Eagle and Palm Beach a short drive away. Most people in Aruba speak dutch,english, spanish and the native tongue, Papiamento, so communicating will not be a problem. We look forward to welcoming you.
