Jorge is originally from Mexico City where he grew up. In 1985 he moved to Cancun, Quintana Roo, where a passion for ocean and cave diving exploration trapped him for the 26 years. Since then he has logged more than 4000 dives in different dive specialties like: drift diving, night diving, underwater navigation, multilevel dives, underwater filming and cave diving.
For the last 22 years he has been living in Akumal, Q Roo where the most beautiful cenotes (caverns and caves) of the Yucatan Peninsula are located. There he enjoys the exploration in the jungle searching new cenotes and operates private diving and snorkel tours to the local reefs, caverns and caves.
