We are a family of 6, James, Kelli and four teenagers, living in the beautiful and quiet woods of central PA. The Gatehouse is the entry way to our circa 1783 historic stone home called Loudon Forge that is just down the lane, over the creek and into the woods from The Gatehouse. We enjoy meeting new people from all over the place and we offer as much or as little conversation, tourist information, and historical perspective as you desire. We have found our land to exemplify the rest, vision, courage, and invention of its first owner, Revolutionary War General and Iron Forge Owner James Chambers. James (Martin, that is) is a native of this area and can eagerly point you in the direction of fun and adventure beyond our property. Visit The Gatehouse at Loudon Forge and see why The Martin Family enjoys the woods of Pennsylvania.
